The RTX 40 Series graphic cards are looked at on the TSMC 4nm manufacturing process and quality third-generation ray-tracing cores, AV1 encoding, and DLSS3. Nvidia claims the RTX 4090 can always deliver 100 FPS in 4K resolution games.

At the top of Nvidia’s final lineup is the RTX 4090, a heavy new GPU both literally and figuratively. This one’s a chunky beast that NVIDIA claims delivers 4x the performance of its precursor. It’s the world’s first GPU predicated on the Ada Lovelace framework, offering a generational spring in best performance and efficacity.

The Nvidia RTX 4090 graphic card consists of 24 GB GDDR6X memory and a 384- bit memory interface and features 16384 CUDA cores with helping hand timers going up to 2.52 GHz. The company also claims it is 2-4x more speedy than the RTX 3090 Ti, despite running on an equal volume of power. The RTX 4090 has a power capacity of 450W and runs on either a single 16-pin PCIe Gen 5 or 3x 8-pin PCIe wires.

Nvidia claims up to 83 teraflops of shader power, double as important as the former generation, along with 2.8 x more effective ray-tracing cores. It also boasts 5x more important tensor cores and unlike architectural advancements. These are tightly linked with a custom TSMC 4nm process that delivers 2x better power effectiveness.

The RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 are two very similar graphics cards. The RTX 4090 has 8GB more GDDR6X VRAM, a larger memory bus, more memory bandwidth, a higher power draw, slightly faster clock speeds, and almost double the number of shader units. All this results in a considerable uplift in performance over the RTX 4080. That’s not the say the RTX 4080 isn’t a good card in its own right — it can easily handle 4K gaming —but the RTX 4090 is simply the better GPU.

Which is right for you?

We’d recommend buying the RTX 4090 out of the two Nvidia graphics cards. If it means holding off to save enough and cover the additional cost, we feel it’s worth it. The RTX 4080 doesn’t offer great value, which makes the RTX 4090 the better pick. If you don’t feel comfortable paying more than INR 82880 for a GPU. The RTX 4080 is a great GPU in terms of performance and what it’s capable of, it’s just not quite good enough for the asking price.
