Nvidia GeForce RTX 4000 Series

The RTX 40 Series graphic cards use the TSMC 4nm manufacturing process. They have high-quality third-generation ray-tracing cores, AV1 encoding, and DLSS3. Nvidia claims the RTX 4090 can always deliver 100 FPS in 4K resolution games.

At the top of Nvidia’s final lineup is the RTX 4090. This new GPU is heavy in both weight and power. This one’s a chunky beast that NVIDIA claims delivers 4x the performance of its precursor. It’s the world’s first GPU based on the Ada Lovelace framework. It provides a big jump in performance and efficiency.

The Nvidia RTX 4090 graphic card consists of 24 GB GDDR6X memory and a 384- bit memory interface and features 16384 CUDA cores with helping hand timers going up to 2.52 GHz. The company also claims it is 2-4x more speedy than the RTX 3090 Ti, despite running on an equal volume of power. The RTX 4090 has a power capacity of 450W and runs on either a single 16-pin PCIe Gen 5 or 3x 8-pin PCIe wires.

Nvidia says it has up to 83 teraflops of shader power. This is twice as important as the last generation. It also has 2.8 times more effective ray-tracing cores. It also boasts 5x more important tensor cores and unlike architectural advancements. These are tightly linked with a custom TSMC 4nm process that delivers 2x better power effectiveness.

The RTX 4080 and RTX 4090 are two very similar graphics cards. The RTX 4090 has 8GB more GDDR6X VRAM. It has a larger memory bus and more memory bandwidth. It also has a higher power draw and slightly faster clock speeds. Plus, it has almost double the number of shader units. All this results in a considerable uplift in performance over the RTX 4080. The RTX 4080 is a good card on its own. It can easily handle 4K gaming. However, the RTX 4090 is the better GPU.

Which is right for you?

We’d recommend buying the RTX 4090 out of the two Nvidia graphics cards. If it means holding off to save enough and cover the additional cost, we feel it’s worth it. The RTX 4080 doesn’t offer great value, which makes the RTX 4090 the better pick. If you don’t feel comfortable paying more than INR 82880 for a GPU. The RTX 4080 is a great GPU in terms of performance and what it’s capable of, it’s just not quite good enough for the asking price.
